When I am not using surreal photography in client work, I am using it to process feelings, call attention to global injustice, and express the inner and outer workings of existence.
This type of work allows me to explore my own creativity and the tools at my disposal. I so often refer to it as "playing" when folks ask. As an artist, creation is both a career and an escape in my spare time. I love pushing myself further through these projects.

From dark and moody to vibrant and expressive, my portrait photography is all about soul, expression, emotion, and vibrancy. I have photographed folks in Colorado, California, Ohio, Virginia, and across New York. I have take portraits of musicians, visual artists, graduates, dancers, LGBTQIA+ folks, small business owners, performers of all kinds, Witches, merfolk, thrifters, models, and more!
Each portrait photo session requires unique editing and angles depending on vibe and lighting. I treat each session with individuality, while keeping a familiar style/feeling across my body of work.
Boudoir is liberation work in a world that aims to crush us into compliance through body shaming. My boudoir sessions aim to celebrate gender and body diversity.
Your comfort & celebration are my top priority during these sessions. There’s no part of this you have to do without support. From helping you pick outfits to posing you, I’m your teammate through this entire experience.

“Recently I was able to do a boudoir session with Rachel and I’m gonna say it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve never been extremely confident in my body and have struggled a lot with body dysmorphia no matter my weight or shape. I always just wasn’t good enough. Doing this session really helped boost my confidence and make me feel secure in myself. During the whole session I felt comfortable and confident and a big part of that was definitely due to Rachel. This is something that is definitely out of my comfort zone, especially posting them, but your body and viewing yourself as a sexual human is nothing to be ashamed of, it’s natural. Stretch marks, skin blemishes, rolls and acne are all natural and something you shouldn’t feel the need to hide. But anyways, if you’re someone like me then you definitely should book a boudoir session or just any photo session with Impassioned Art. They have a way of capturing the body in a different lighting and appreciating it for what it is, Art.”
Self Portraiture and Collaboration are landing platforms for my creative exploration and expression. I simultaneously disappear and shine my brightest in self portraits. This is where I push my creativity, channel my deepest emotions, and take charge of the narrative of how folks see me.
